We celebrated Asha Lea’s first birthday on January 4th. I was planning A’s first birthday party in my head for a while and finally got to execute it. I wanted to do a sophisticated and elegant birthday party for my little lady and came up with a cream, white, gold, silver and peach colored color scheme. We had three cakes (red velvet, carrot cake and a smash cake of vanilla lemon flavor), cake pops (white chocolate covered double chocolate), cupcakes (vanilla frosted vanilla ) and snowflake butter cookies as main desserts. We had chicken marsala, chicken frensh ,butternut squash and craisins, pear and provolone salad as main entrees and we had hot cocoa bar (winter onederland party must-have), assortment beer, wines and still and sparking water. we also hired a balloon twister, face painter for the party. The party turned out awesome and the little lady had a blast. I was very pleased with how the party turned out overall. Most of the items were diy. I will be more than happy to share how I did them.
Enjoy the pics!

Um…I’m pretty sure you should be a party planner on the side. Everything was perfect!!! I think my favorite was Asha’s smash cake!! Now what’s in store for her 2nd birthday party?? Lol
Hehe thanks Corie. Still deciding on the 2nd party theme 🙂
I had some tears coming on… So precious! I agree with Corie that maybe you missed your calling?! LOL. 🙂
Aww Judy! How sweet! I love throwing creative, fun parties. Maybe I did miss my calling hmmm lol.

Hi! How did you make the gold letters for the banner?? Thank you! Beautiful!
Hi- I bought the glittered letter from Micheals and just slapped them on the doilies. It was a very easy project. 🙂
