I designed and decorated baby A’s nursery while I was on my second trimester. I wanted to create a nursery which was girly but did not scream “BABY” so I came up with a color scheme of gray, white and pink. The first thing that was done to the room was rip out the old wallpaper and paint the room in a neutral color. Then my search for a perfect chandelier began. After finding and ordering the chandelier I started looking at nursery furniture. I saw a million different types of cribs and nursery furniture but I wasn’t sure which one to get. Hubby and I decided Pottery Barn Kids is the one to rescue. So we ordered the Catalina Crib and the ultimate changing table from PBK. After that the bookshelves, some of the decorating items and photo frames were bought from Ikea. A lot of other details were from Homegoods. I was very happy the way the nursery turned out. I still need to “finish” it off. Since A is now a toddler I may just convert this room into her “big girl room”. I will just re purpose the furniture. I will make sure to post pictures after I start or done with the toddler room. I still love this room to mess it up so I will just move furniture around and add some more stuff to make it into a toddler room. Stay tuned! (now if only I could figure out how to post more pictures in this post than just one)..
